Overview
Standard leaf thickness is 45mm, but like all of our doors this can be customised to meet your specifications. Because of this, the Stainless Steel Door is ideal for buildings where security is paramount, including bin stores, electrical cupboards, safe rooms, and other rooms containing hazardous or confidential documentation.
Every door is custom made to suit existing structural openings. They are designed on a CAD/CAM system and manufactured with CNC punching and pressing facilities to guarantee quality and long product life, so you can depend on it to secure your premises as intended.

Door frames
Manufactured from 2mm grad 304 or 316 stainless steel formed to a single or double rebated profile in knock down form, reinforced and fitted with fixing plates or jacking screws are available as an optional extra. Frame depth can either be 100mm or 150mm as standard for single rebate, on request we can fold to specified sizes and 145mm as standard for double rebate, on request we can fold to specified sizes (other depths are available, please see Bespoke Doorsets for more infomation).
Door leaves
Manufactured from 1.5mm or 2.0mm grade 304 or 316 stainless steel (other grades available, please enquire for more details), screwed and glued design, reinforced internally to prevent twisting and to prolong doorset life. Internally the door leaves are in filled with dense rockwool. Standard leaves thickness is 45mm. All door leaves are fitted with a security anti jemmy lip to the lock side.
Hardware
Doorsets are compatible for all types of mortice and surface mounted locks.
All of our stainless steel doorsets come as standard with a sashlock, lever handles both sides, double euro cylinder and escutcheons both sides or panic exit hardware. Our doorsets can also be fitted with a code lock where controlled access is needed as well as any range of mortice and surface mounted locks.
All of our doorsets can be fitted with door closers or limit stays.
Hinges
As standard depending on size and weight, doors are supplied with 3 to 6 stainless steel ball bearing hinges.
Doorsets can also be fitted with full length hinge, concealed hinges, extended, specialist cladding and customer supplied.
Cill
All doorsets come as standard with a DDA Compliant threshold which comply with wheelchair access regulations, other options are no threshold, extra low profile (6mm from floor level) and specialist inward opening to combat water ingress on inward opening doors.
Double doors
Double doorsets are available with top and bottom flush bolts (concealed or face fixed), or as required on the passive leaf.
Vision panels
Our stainless steel doorsets can be fitted with a range of vision panels with different thicknesses of glass.
Side panels
Our stainless steel doorsets can be supplied with a side panel in the same frame profile as the doorset either solid or glazed.
Over panels
Our stainless steel doorsets can be supplied with a over panel in the same frame profile as the doorset either solid or glazed.
Stable door
We are also able to manufacture this product in a stable door configuration to allow the upper half of the leaf to open independently to the lower.
Optional extra’s
Our stainless steel doorsets can also be fitted with kick plates, rain deflectors, drop bars, spy holes, finger protection strips and more items that are available on request.
Finishes
Bare metal stainless steel finish, powder coated or wood grain finish.
