Overview
Fireproof doors play an important role in emergency fire procedures and can be installed to help your building comply with fire safety legislation. We offer these from FD30 doors and FD60 doors, up to FD240 doors. This means the door will perform as intended for up to 4 hours of fire protection. Fire resistant steel doors are best used internally to secure rooms where fire risk is high or to secure rooms containing combustibles or other contents susceptible to fire.
Every fire rated steel door is custom made to suit existing structural openings. They are designed on a CAD/CAM system and manufactured with CNC punching and pressing facilities to guarantee quality and long product life, so you can depend on it to secure your premises as intended.

Product description
General purpose fire rated exit doors for standard fire rated applications. Up to 240 minute fire rating to BS 476 parts 20 & 22, custom made to suit existing structural openings, all doors are designed on a CAD / CAM system and manufactured with CNC punching and pressing facilities to guarantee quality and long product life.
Door frames
Manufactured from 1.5mm or 2.0mm Zintec steel, formed to create a single rebate profile frame (double rebate option available on request), reinforced and fitted with adjustable wind out fixing points, we also offer an expanding channel frame which can aid fitting into uneven openings.
Door leaves
Manufactured from 1.2mm, 1.5mm or 2.0mm Zintec steel, double skinned and tray formed to create a 45mm thick door leaves, Internally the door leaves are filled with a fire rated dufaylite / honeycomb core or an insulated mineral wool core. Door leaves are fitted with an external security anti jemmy lip to the lock side and integral security dog bolts to the hinged side.
Hardware
Our personnel doorsets come as standard with a sashlock, 2No lever handles and double euro profile cylinder, leaf & half / double doorsets come with top and bottom bolts (concealed or face fixed), fire exit doorsets come as standard with a single point panic bar, leaf & half / double doorsets also come with a 2 point panic bar to the passive leaf. Additional locks can also be added to single, leaf & hald and double doors to increase security. Please note any type of lock can be fitted to this type of doorset. Dependent on furniture doors may need to be fitted with a overhead door closer.
Hinges
As standard doors are supplied with a minimum of 3 stainless steel ball bearing butt hinges, dependant on leaf size and weight, doorsets can also be fitted with a continuous butt hinge.
Cill
All doorsets come as standard with a DDA Compliant threshold, other threshold options are available including no threshold.
Vision and Louvered Panels
Our fire rated doorsets can be fitted with vision panels in a wide range of sizes and glazing options. They can also be fitted with louvered panels as fire rated louvre doors in a wide range of sizes with or without fly/insect mesh.
Side & over panels
Our fire rated doorsets can be supplied with side and/or over panels either solid, louvered or glazed.
Optional extra’s
Our fire rated doorsets can also be fitted with additional locking, door closers, limit stays, kick plates, rain deflectors, drop bars, spy holes, finger protection strips, and more items that are available on request.
